Our SunnysideLOCAL Farm grown oranges and local Hangar 24 Orange Wheat Beer combine to produce an earthy, complex caramel, not too sweet with a hint of saltiness. Each two inch candy has a soft texture that requires you to slow down and savor every bite. Organic ingredients include thick heavy cream, unsalted butter, Madagascar vanilla bean and, instead of corn syrup, organic brown rice syrup adds to the caramel’s depth.
All candies are handcrafted, hand cut and wrapped in unbleached parchment paper. It is important to know that all packaging materials are biodegradable, compostable and recyclable. The little square box and ribbon make the perfect gift-ready presentation. Each 4 ounce box contains approximately 11-12 “pinkie sized” caramels. For best flavor and texture enjoy caramels before “FRESHEST BY DATE” printed on bottom of box. Best stored and consumed at room temperature between 68 and 80 degrees.
These caramels are made from our farm grown Olallieberries. This blackberry is sweeter than most and combined with a quality Modena Balsamic vinegar for a tangy, fruity and dark caramel. To enhance the flavor of this confection a slight dusting of Hawaiian Red salt is added.
