Palo Santo Smudge Bundles
These natural bundles were created as a way to celebrate meaningful times in our lives. Moments of joy and significance like a new birth, a graduation, a triumph over a challenge, or a way to mark a lovely evening with good friends. Smudge bases are made of farm grown Blue Angel sage or a combination of Provence lavender and mint. Each bundle is tied with natural undyed cotton cording and a piece of sweetly scented Palo Santo wood. Flowers are harvested from SunnysideLOCAL garden and dried. Several have shells or sand dollars collected from Morro Bay. If you choose to burn the bundle place in a fire proof container, light the palo santo wood and allow to smolder like incence. Or choose to keep as a pretty keepsake. Usually lasts 3-5 years.

The feather white celosia give this arrangement a wispy feeling like walking in tall meadow grass. Other flowers include vibrant strawflowers, clover, Gerbera daisy, seeded eucalyptus leaves on a base of Blue Angel sage

Beach Walk
This arrangement captures my memories of walking on the beach. Blues and yellows of sun and sea are represented by garden and sea statice, Moonshine yarrow, starry ammobium, lemon centered strawflowers, feather eucalyptus and a found mussel shell.

Beyond a picket fence, up a sandy path you would find these flowers growing in a cottage garden. Soft pink strawflowers, Moonshine yarrow, peachy pink clover, tansy, lavender and nigella. Tied with a hand collected sand dollar.

This bundle is inspired by the long shadows cast in the fall at dusk. Flowers include Greek oregano, Zinnia, Gerbera daisy, safflower, flax, mountain mint, lavender hand wrapped on a lavender and mint base.

Farm Flower Wreaths
This new collection of one of a kind wreaths draws heavily on flowers and other natural items growing on SunnysideLOCAL Farm. Wreath bases are formed from existing vines growing in our landscape. Scarlet Trumpet Flower vine and a wild Honeysuckle vine provide the natural bases that are twined into shapes and cured for three weeks until firm. Added to that are a rich array of dried flowers like strawflower, lavenders and roses, safflower, gomphrena, echinacea, Moonshine yarrow, ammobium or winged everlasting, chamomile, larkspur, several varieties of celosias. Many of our herbs are dried and used as background support. Flowers are dried then arranged without the use of any sprays or fixatives. To prolong the life of your wreath keep from direct intense sunlight as this will cause color fade. Also keep from humidity.
